Purpose & Vision

Dr. Venkatesh Kolla relocated from Bangalore to Godavari District to address the urgent need for pediatric surgery & urology services, particularly for underprivileged families. Many families struggle to afford private hospitals and face challenges in accessing government healthcare due to overwhelming patient loads.

To bridge this gap, he joined GSL Medical College, where he independently provides comprehensive pediatric surgical care. Inspired by his mentor, Dr. S. Ramesh, he follows the principle of never turning away a patient unless absolutely necessary and ensuring every child gets the best possible treatment.

Future Goals:

• Introduce robotic surgical techniques in pediatric surgery & urology

• Enhance minimally invasive procedures for better outcomes in young patients

• Bring advanced pediatric surgical care to families in rural & underserved areas
